Reasons for Testicular Pain

What is the cause of pain in the testes and are there any herbal remedies to stop the pain?

Discussion：

Testicular pain can be the result of an infection, inflammation of the epididymis or testicle, excessive sexual activity, injury to the scrotum, impaired blood flow to the testicle due to twisting of the spermatic cord (testicular torsion), a stone in the lower ureter which can cause pain in the testicle on the same side as the stone, enlargement of the veins within the scrotum, fluid in the testicles, or testicular cancer.

Here’s an Overview to determine the cause for each:

Pain from testicular torsion occurs suddenly. Pain from an infection of the testicle and other causes sets in gradually. Early on, pain due to infection is often just in the area of the epididymis itself.

With pain from any source, you may notice swelling or redness of the testicles or scrotum as well as nausea and vomiting. You may experience fever or chills with epididymitis but less frequently with torsion. Pain upon urination or of penile discharge are common symptoms of epididymitis.
